Education

Diego has a bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering and a master's degree in mechanical engineering (Computer Aided Engineering and Design) both from the Georgia Institute of Technology (Georgia Tech), where he also studied music and Spanish.

At Georgia Tech, Diego conducted research with the Microelecetronics Packaging Research Center in Atlanta, GA, USA, and the Ultrasonics Laboratory in Metz, France.

Diego also was part of the Society of Hispanic Professional Engineers, the American Society of Mechanical Engineers, Tau Beta Pi (engineering honors society), Pi Tau Sigma (mech engineering honors society), the Georgia Tech Symphony Orchestra, Chorale, and Symphonic Band.
